Cross- Platform?? ( Ps4 and XboxOne)

I know this is old news, but I want to talk about the Ps4 and XboxOne cross-platform with these two consoles. First, I'm curious on how this will play out in terms of how will it be executed? Will we all be on one network? Will we have an option to cross link to Playstations network and vice versa? Honestly that would be dope. I know if this happens it would be a big move from both Ps4 and XboxOne.

 Now, I know Playstation has been supporting cross-platform play on the PC on several software titles back in 2002. I felt like this deal was on the table between both companies (Sony and Microsoft.) This will only work if the developers of these games to support it. I want this to happen, I honestly can see having tournaments between consoles to see who is the best between ps4 and Xbox. 

Do you see this happening? I absolutely do, it will be an exciting experience to having playing with Xbox or Ps4 users online. Tell me what you guys think down below!
